I have power locks on my '89 and want to install keyless entry. Don't want an alarm or anything, just the locks with maybe a button for the trunk release. I see several kits for sale in the Summit catalog and plenty on Ebay. How hard would it be to install this? I may just have a shop do it, but I practically know my car inside and out. I can't imagine it is that hard.

it's pretty easy but you can get it done for 100$.
it really comes down to how electrically inclined you are.

Shouldn't be that hard. You give power to the keyless module and then just tie it into the door locks. Any keyless system you buy should have directions on how to intall it, unless you purchase the system used, which I wouldn't recommend.

The second post answered your question, tard. How many opinions did you think you needed? Well anyway, don't let the door hit you on your way out.
