Drnking, riding, no gear........everyone needs to learn a HUGE lesson from this guy. No disrespect intended, but you gotta be safer than that. These things can be very dangerous.

Sad days for sure, but why would you ride a motorcycle drunk? Hell at least in a car you don't have to balance something while driving. Drinking and driving/riding is a BAD IDEA!!

That is sad. :(

I get PISSED when I see people riding w/out gear and/or after drinking.

WHY risk it? It is not that difficult to have an accident sober or get hurt WITH gear... why would you increase your chances by driving drunk or not wearing any?

What a shame... only 21 years old...

i dont want to be negative since someone passed away, but why would your cousin let the guy drive drunk anyways?

from what I heard, the guy had a history of not riding smart. I dont want to dog on a fallen rider though. If anything we should take this as a reality check that we shouldnt ride drunk, and we shouldnt ride without gear.

yea, but that should be common sense...i would say if anything we should learn not to let our drunk friends on a bike especially without gear. :(

Your preaching to the chior man......we all know this, yet everyone of us have been guilty of the same thing at one time or another.....wether it be a car or a bike, we have all watched a freind drive off in a unsafe state. There are some people you can talk to till your blue in the face in it won't hit them, so to blame his freind is not right.....this is on him and only him.

I agree we should all look out for our freinds and I don't know anyone that doesn't do that, but you can't blame freinds for your mistakes. ;)

ROMANN, JUSTIN CHARLES, our free spirit, age 22, began his new journey to soar with the eagles and fly forever free. Those of us waiting to join him in his journey are his mother, 2 fathers, a brother and a zoo: Rene' Romann, Randy Williams, his 11 year old brother Julian Williams, as well as a house full of wildlife (Doujah, Kirei, Soren, Mystery, a fish called Wanda, and little Miss Porsche) in Richardson, Texas along with his father Charles J. Hall of Edwardsville, Illinios. He also leaves behind his wonderful grandparents Sandy Romann and Lynn Romann, his incredible uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbors and some of the BEST friends on the planet. He graduated from J.J. Pearce High School in 2001 and has lived in Richardson since 1993. He came into this world during a snow storm on January 22, 1983 and entered his life in a hurry. His first word to learn was "motorcycle" - imagine that! He has begun his new journey in that same fashion. Justin loved music, motorcycles, bicycling and the outdoors. He was always devoted to his little brother. His eyes were blue like the sea with a heart as big as can be. His smile would light up the room. He was taken from us far too soon in a tragic motorcycle accident, he had so much ahead of him, but he leaves so much behind to love! May he find his "Neverland." I Love You, Justypoo - MOM Forever & Ever in my heart! 'Peace-Out'. Visitation will be held from 5:30 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. on Friday, April 22, 2005 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 23, 2005 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Restland 972-238-7111 restlandfuneralhome.com

My cousin tried to stop Justin from riding but there is only so much that you can do, and he has a history of doing this, its not my cousins fault, everybody takes responsibilty for their actions.

RIP even if he was riding drunk, it still is a tragic loss. :(

I don't know what to say. I know I'm guilty of having a couple of beers here and there and riding. But I know my limits, I never have more than two or three and if I do I'm either sitting there for a few hours or catching a ride home and letting someone else ride my bike for me.

I know what other's will say but we all take our chances when we go riding and I'm totally accountabable for what I do.

That's so sad...a good looking kid with his whole life ahead of him!

I sold my ZX-11 to a guy who let his Uncle, who was intoxicated and high, ride it. They didn't find his body until the next day.

Everyone is responsible for their own actions, but here is a good idea if you can't get your buddie's keys...put your disk lock in his front wheel. Just a thought. Drunk people are not rational...some times you gotta piss them off, hold them down, knock them out or call the cops...hell...how far would you want your friends to go to save your life?

There is not much gear that can save you from a stationary object, but better some protection than non at all.

My heart goes out to his family and friends!
