Hello all, can someone help me in choosing a gym? I am looking for a gym close to my home and i have found two of them i just need to decide wich one will be the best choice and what past experiences you have had if any with them? The first one that is 4 miles from were i live is 24 hour fitness and the other one wich is something like 8 miles is Bally's Total Fitness. Does anyone have any advice on wich one to sign up with? Thanks

It really varies. Some 24 hrs suck, some are nice. Same with the Bally's. Cant really say one company is better than the other. Where are these in relation to where you work? If one is close or is between work and home, you will be more inclined to go as opposed to if one was in the complete opposite direction.
Go ask for a 2 week trial period from each. Then workout at the same time that you plan to once you have your membership. Sometimes the gym is great but the people there suck.

that's a good idea.
I work out at the 24 Hour on Trinity Mills in Carrollton. I like it.

check out the contract at ballys... back when i used to work there you were obligated by contract to pay for 3yrs.. if you tried to cancel or stop paying they will put it on your credit report.. again that was a while back and things may have changed.. i personally go to 24 hr these days :)

a gym is what you make of it. I train at several 24 hour fitness locations, and my work out is as good as i make it.
