The Mavs still dont have a true answer for the inside game of the Spurs but they are closer to that answer than they have ever been.But with Henderson and Damp, they have a better answer than most of the league. I think the Mavs are certainly capable of taking the Spurs this year...especially with their newfound commitment to D.

I think you're way off. And the Miami Heat in the east will be no cake walk for the west. And Detroit isn't terrible. Beyond that the East sucks.

Back to the west, if the Spurs play Denver, which I think they are, that could be a VERY tough series. I could see that going 7 games easy, with Denver possibly pulling an upset. Seattle is on the downfall right now, if they play Houston I think they get knocked out in the first round. If the Mavs advance to the second round, and face Phoenix, that could be a very good series. If the Spurs do play Denver and get past them, they will have no problem in the second round. But, I think they will fall in the West Finals should they have to play Dallas or Phoenix. We'll see......
