I've been thinking about doing a cam swap on my 99 yamaha warrior and wanted to see if anyone has had expeirence with such a thing. I also plan to replace the piston with higher C.R. one later on but feel like that might be too much for myself to take on right now.

Another thing I've thought about is wrapping the header I already have a Pro Circuit T4 slip on but stuck with the stock header. Main reason I would like to wrap it is when using the choke for warm up the header starts glowing a bit making me concerned about the heat its producing. Would the header wrap hold up to the abuse it might see from riding(mud, water, etc.).

My jetting is alittle bit off aswell once I put the exhaust on and a K&N filter(just for ease of cleaning) it went way lean so I richend it up. The problem is its too rich I've messed with jets, needle postions everything but cant seem to get it perfect. What would be suggested to fix this I was thinking maybe picking up a jet kit with various jets to see if I could find a combo that worked.

TIA

Jon
