Everyone has thier opinion on which is better and why. For a long time UFC wouldn't let certain fighters fight each other. They also wouldn't let you fight anywhere else if you had a UFC contract. Not sure if that has changed, but it kept a lot of good fighters from fighting in the UFC. Some fighters that would have killed some of these UFC fighters. Pride and Vale Tudo have great fighters. Either way that fight between Forrest and Bonner on the Next Ultimate Fighter, was one of the best toe-to-toe stand up fights ever!

I have seen a couple Pride fights and I have to say that I like UFC better.

Pride is better imo. better production, better fighters, better rules. the only thing I dont like about Pride is their silly mismatches. But that is usually to develop a story line of some type.

This card is definitely stacked. Its a must see. I'll be ordering the Pride event too, so if you know me, then pm me and ill hook you up with directions.

I agree, I like pride better. Simply for the fact that you can kick a down opponent in the head, and knee the head on the ground... I'm just saying

I like them both, fights is fights. For every so-so fighter the UFC has Pride has 10 Japanese tomato cans, Pride does however own the HW division. UFC would have to be #1 though just to support my Italian brothers.
