TorqueCentral WEDNESDAY NIGHT GTG - 4/13/05 - NEW LOCATION!

Well, it's that time of year again, time to dust off the cars, hook up with some good friends and enjoy the evening spring and summer weather we are so fortunate to have here! The weather for this Wednesday makes it the PERFECT time to start!

In all the threads about the GTG posted so far this season there have been 2 themes - More central location to those who frequent it the most and the place needs to have beer! I think we have found the perfect spot.

Come join in the fun at Snuffers in Plano off Park and Preston. Gathering will start at 7 or so in the parking lot just north of the restaurant. We'll head in and eat as everyone gets hungry or the bulk of the crowd shows up.

We have spoken to management, and they are expecting us and welcome the business - we will be welcomed.

That's cool... this is a seaonal one (only during nice weather) we've had at Chuck's in Plano for the last 4 years, and we've moved it... Not tryin' to step on any toes, just getting the word out to the few DFWStang members who used to come out to this one.

Chris is right, you will double your attendance if you move it to Thursdays... ;) As I would like to go to both...

lately there have been many gtgs.. one on Tues. a couple on Wednesdays and a couple on Thursdays.. the Torque Central GTG was actually HUGE back in 2001-2002 in Plano..(5x if not more the crowd of wednesdays sonic gtg) it got very packed and then the Plano PD just ruined it.. Plus.. one gtg is in Plano, another is in Garland.. I dont think attendance will be effected at all. Don't worry Chris.. people will show!

LOL but none of my friends go to those hang outs anymore, that was like 20+ people right there... ;)
