ODRA drag (Diesel Racing) [Archive]

Where: Denton Dragway

When: Saturday, April 16

Time: Gates open at 6 and time trials begin at 7

I have never been to a ODRA (Outlaw Diesel Racing Assocation) race before so hopefully it will be fun. I believe you can join the ODRA for $10. Maybe some other diesel guys might know more about the race.

I hope to see a lot of yall diesel guys out there. (even the strokers and duramax guys)

If you can get a good performance AUTO transmission the Cummins can do some damage. (Damn Standard)

I have had the crappies luck in the world. My vp44 pump went out two days before the race. (I think god was telling me something.) I think I would have gave yall a run for your money. What were some of the times?

I think the fastest was the Duramax that ran mid 8s. For the most part there were a lot of mid-low 9's. But I left before they actually began the bracket racing, so I don't know who got what after that.

For the most part, the fast manuals and fast 2wds were traction limited :(

That is my down fall. But it aaahhhhs the GTs when they see a diesel white smoking the tires in 3rd and still beating them on the street. :D (until you hit 115mph)

LOL yeah, there was this one guy, I was down at the finish mark, and all we could see was white smoke. We all thought he blew a head gasket but when he came by those tires were spinning just as fast as they could. :D

I am tring to get my truck fixed under warrenty this week, so hopefully Friday or Sunday I can get K-dale to try out my new 100hp sticks. :D It should be fun. I should be around the 420hp range now.

I wish I wasn't going to Clash of the Titans in OKC this weekend, my truck runs 8.40-8.70 depending on traction. 1998 ext. cab cummins 2wd. OOPS, I am a little late!! :confused:
