Not to ruin your thread here but, Att will not work with Cingular now . I went in friday to get a new phone and the guy behing counter said the att phone is pretty much worthless because they cant turn it on. If this is wrong someone tell me!!!!

It's wrong because my AT&T phone works just fine out here where there are only Cingular towers and I don't pay any extra roaming.

some at&t sim cards wont work in some cingular phones, and visa versa.
