It got better after you left....not that you leaving made it better! ;)

The yellow corvette drove through a few more times, a few more people dry humped the 4 foot long nitrous bottle, more slow cars reving, a ranger got a second gear scratch, Some rice rolled through and that was about it. Around 11:00 it broke up pretty quick....I left.

the mustangs are quick.. but there are supras that run mid 8s at higher trap speeds than the mustang that are street legal daily drivers with NO wheelie bars :).. I cant find the video but when I do, i'll post up. Sure there are more faster domestics than imports but when imports are modded the right way, better watch out :).. there are many 4 cylinder civics that run mid 8s in the 1/4.. doesnt matter how much was spent on the car, the point is, its been done.. mid to low 8 sec 1/4 mile with a 4 shitter.. built,blown,stroked,turboed ls1s and stangs have a hard time doing that!!

glad you could make it over here. Ya, I was bored that day and wanted to see what I could rattle out of the woodwork. My car isnt exactly slow, but the people talking trash back had nothing to brag about eather, now it some one with a supra or a nice rx7 was talkin shit, then it would be fun :)

btw those video's of that red mustang are nothing compared to what its gonna do in a few months. fyi, those are drag radials in those passes.

I was joking, I could read your sig was just a hint to condense it down a lil. Most of the tools on DI and Import driven etc don't have a car that could even sniff at 12 sec pass is what drives me nuts. There are those few and far between that do run quick but it's very few and far between.

exactly, bobby is right though, there will always be that one that sneaks up on ya when your cruisin down the street, but I havent found that one yet.

What gets me about ricers is that just because someone spent $120k to get a supra in 8's.....they think all supras are fast......I am exaggerating on costs but you get my point.......

AS for the four cylinder cars that are fast.....when they weigh 1600lbs anything can be fast.

i hate imports just as much as the next guy.

but i'll give credit where credit is due... getting a 4 cyl. car running very fast is pretty tough. even though the cost more money. and look uglier. and sound like shit. getting there is still impressive.


but i'll stick to stangs :cool:
