Is it ok to have the shakes for like an hour or so after lifting?
like the ones you can see if you try to hold your head steady, nothing major

I have always had these , sometimes the following days after lifting too. Like if I'm sore it can be more difficult to do detailed work. Wondered if I was somehow deficient in anything....

Are you eating some carbs and protien immediately after lifting? It may help.

your info is kinda vague bro.

do you take any supplements? how old are you? are you overweight? what is your diet like? do you ingest any caffeine, if so how much?

supplements or not i get them if i lift, cardio doesn't feel the same
26, normal weight, diet is shitty foods/fast foods most of the time
im just starting to work out again, about 3 times a week
supplement protein shakes, creatine, vitamin
yes i drink a significant amount of caffeine everyday. Unless diet sodas are all caffeine free, in which case I gave up caffeine a month ago and didn't know it. :D
I drink enough alcohol for it to be a factor , but I haven't noticed any difference relating to this/ or dehydration

i bet if you get a better diet, it'll stop.

might as well not bother with the creatine with the amount of caffeine and alcohol you drink, both of those are counterproductive.

Yeah, mine do shake from time to time but not all that bad. Depends on what I was working that day. When I read your first post I was thinkign you were saying that if you hold your HEAD still you were seeing shaking. That would indicate a real issue of some type.

Sounds like maybe your diet could help you a lot. Diet is key to seeign gains. You will see a difference with a crappy diet, but with a good diet and plenty of rest each night you will get more bang for the buck with lifting.

your crappy food type diet is probably loaded with empty carbs that are probably spiking your GI levels then falling off fast after a short time. Oat meal is your friend man.

Concur, filling, tastes great and is healthy....

...although I have a decent diet, I can get all shaky. It is possible you are over doing it, that is usually why it happens to me.

Take care!

cool, thx for the info
ill like some flavored oatmeal, but the plain stuff sucks...
im trying to work to failure with 6 reps or about that. not always to failure but...

IS eating clean better even if you eat too much? Will it still be easy to keep fat off since your body is better at *using* that energy source or something?
I ordered some 'muscle milk' the other day to help add in the right things as i get thinner and will want to eat more for muscle growth.

Just trying to get some ideas because I am trying to change my eating habits forever. It's going to take awhile, but i just want to have the right building blocks...
