LOL i think I have gone over this a million times on a bunch of boards. The tranny is NOT-proshifted.. it's the G-force (helical cut synchro) version which is basically a stock t-5 with really badass gears.... You have to full depress the clutch in order to shift....lol I think I might have to post a vid of him missing a gear just to show he's human and that the trannys IS synchronized ;)

Here's an old one...It leaves straight you just cant tell from the angle. I have the same pass from the back where you can tell but I dont feel like getting it hosted. It's not the easiest thing in the world to try and get it to leave straight as an arrow everytime especially w/ 26" slicks. AS long as the driver gets down the track safely that's main priority and a new best et wouldn't hurt either :D

exactly safty i dont mind a little fighting but he walks all over the lines. i know fast cars skate. but geeze. im just used to my slow car that goes strait lmao. mid 11's and it drives like a arrow. why dont you guys try a diff size tire?

IM not sure where he positions his hands on the wheel but I like mine on the left side of the wheel....Never had skating issues unless my hand is on top of the wheel...FWIW.

I know what your talking about but I am sure he steers with his hand on the left side of the wheel. It's alot easier to upset the car when you have your hand on top of the wheel using it for leverage tryin to kill the shifter... :)

I wouldnt say hard headed....The car will be lots more stable on a taller sidewall for sure...Id actually go with a 10.5Stiff though....Take the shock of the launch better instead of wadding up the tires.

The main reason we haven't tried a 28's is the added stress on the clutch and tranny with the power we were making. I don't know how it's going to react now with either the 26's or 28's. Time to find out :)

There was alot of suspension stuff we didn't mess with at that time. Had we know what we know now I am sure we could have got some constant 1.3's 60ft out of it. It only ran 6.31 @111 oe 112 can't really remember :o but it ran like a mofo backtrack 9.81 @ 140 :)
