Secret being Cedar Creek. We made 3 changes to the car this week. Added a Tach, a Pro 5.0 shifter and tuned on the carb a little. The results are as follows.

1st pass
60' 1.55
1/8 e.t. 7.223
1/8 mph 96.933

2nd pass
60' 1.53
1/8 e.t. 7.216
1/8 mph 97.206

3rd pass
Clocks fucked up but the car felt good and probably ran close to the previous numbers.

Once the car is where we want it in a couple of months we are hoping to see some 6.8's @ 100 in the 1/8th and 10.8's @ 124 in the 1/4.

Yes sir. 88 GT, Carbed 10.5:1 347 stroker with a stock t-5 and stock rearend/suspension(except for 3.55 gears) running on 26x11.5 ET streets. The track was suprisingly good for the 1st couple hours then it went to shit when all the diesel farm trucks came in about 10:00 pm.

Hey, but it's my turd! It's still has lots of work to be done and the motor has only about 25 miles on it. It will be in the 6.8 range in a couple of months.

Hmm. Same as mine but just a 650. I wonder what I could run with a 5 spd instead of the c4.

HA ha!! Well, I had been shifting old school (tach in car is broke & shifted by ear) and it just wasn't working out. Now that I know where to launch & shift it's a tad bit easier.

nice time moose, I wish I could have gotten my 60ft's down there that low with the old blower motor. Even though you still have more left in it it will even drop more.

I was out there, you have a good looking car man!

My turd only ran a 8.63 @ 83w 1.86 60'. You are right about the track going bad, I could only manage 2.2 after that.

That is freakin moving. I bet if you get that T-5 modded to where it will shift easier that itself will get you into the 6's.

Dad's taking the block and everthing to our engine builder this week, we hope to have it up and going again by May.

The maroon car was sold and we took the proceeds from it to buy the black one. What we sold the maroon car for was what we gave for the black car. Hell of a deal, we sold a 7.9 car for a potential 6.9 or better car!

what kind of suspension does this car have?

The front is a complete QA1 suspension with coilovers and adjustable struts. However, the rear is stock except for some FMS 3.55 gears. For the cam that's in it, it really needs at least a 3.90 gear. The rearend should be upgraded in the next month or so. Gonna put a spool in it with some 33 spline axles, 4:10 gears, adjustable control arms & a anti-rollbar.
