You passed by me once. Sorry I couldn't get by and say hi. My junk is cursed! Made one low low boost pass and brought it back. Went to start it again and it would not turn over. Checked the silanoid(sp?) and everything else and ended up having to hot wire it. Was going to make a pass and then the intercooler pump and water pump would not work  I decided to load it up. 3 weeks in a row we have had stupid little problems that do not occur till we get to the track. I was happy w/ the 1st pass however. 100mph @ only 8psi. Cant wait till everything works for once and we dial it in for 24psi :D Should make some good passes then. Hopefully we can try it again on Wed. night.

Thanks :D It does look good sitting there but it is going to run one day. I am glad we did not go to Belle Rose this weekend. I would have been really pissed. I really need to get it dialed in for FFW in Houston. For one night, I would trade all the chrome and cleaness for a primered, simple car that runs 5's w/o alot of headache. After FFW I think my car will have a whole new look. It will be tuned and the bugs will have to be gone by then. I am thinking of removing the a/c, putting on a manual rack, ditching the system and all other unneccessay accessories.

Don't know  Dads done all the wiring so I will let him find the problem. Starter silanoid is not getting any fire so it may be in the ignition switch. He may have pulled the water pumps wire loose when trying to find the first problem. Either way its time to simplify everything.

The car is tuned by Job Spetter Jr. w/ a DFI. Making power has never been a problem. It has always been small shit. We have made alot of changes so hopefully it will run to its potential now. There was alot of little things holding us back. I am still unsure of the clutch though. The mcleod soft-loc is a thorn in my side. If we had an auto I think the car would have already made a few 5 sec. passes.

i know you will the bugs worked out, besides it's part of racing ;) will a auto tranny be better for the coupe or what? i know the one you have now costs alot more than a auto ;)

The last 3 weeks have just been bad luck. The auto would work better in my car I think. Heavy turbo car + clutch = hard to tune. I wanted a manual car to be diff. but now I know why everyone goes w/ an auto :D

That ignition module under the steering wheel has been a problem in a few mustangs that I have seen.

Yup, you put a C4 in that car and it's gonna haul some fuggin ass! The potential is certainly there. I've got a lot of respect for your car, it's just a tranny away from a 5.9X...
