A QUESTION ON TIMES -- NEW TO LIMITED STREET, 10:35:08 03/31/05 Thu
I GOT A QUESTION ABOUT THE TIMES THE LIMITED STREET GUYS ARE RUNNING ON MOTOR ALONE. WE RAN MY NEW CAR LAST NIGHT AND IT YIELDED A 9.30 @150, 1.47 60', 6.04 1/8. IT IS SET UP FOR NITROUS. AM I PRETTY CLOSE TO THE REST OF THE PACK ON MOTOR??? WHAT TIMES ARE YOU GUYS GETTING OUTTA MOTOR?

That is interesting. I find it hard to believe that a truly setup nitrous car will run that fast on the motor. The converter just has to be to tight. My car doesn't start making power until 6500 or better. With the converter at 4400 on the brake, it just doesn't start moving until 100' or so. A converter change and I could go 5.80's but it would never hook on the bottle.
fyi, the automatic is coming out of mine. mwuuuuahhahahahahahaha

Dude, you're gonna have a TOTAL Glidden clone soon.
Just have to get the body panels to get down to 2450#
Going with a clutch, bruno setup, or just changing the converter?

9" Dual disc ram setup and a Trick Titanium bell.
It will probably be towards the end of the year before I get it in the car. The floor has to be cut up pretty good to make it fit. So, I will have to make quite a few changes to the interior.

All I hear is $$$$$$$$
I looked into getting one of those setups... and it was still almost $10k for a complete USED setup.

Remember that th 10.5W boys run about a tenth quicker in that part of the country, too. Different air down there.

The clutch cars can just raise the launch rpm on the chip if making a motor pass. Then put it back down for a nitrous pass. That is what I want to be able to do. Leave at around 4500 on the bottle and 8000 on the motor. Hell yeah!!

You are going to Redline tomorrow? I was so tied up at the cruise, we didn't get to talk.
You better get that liberty before I get mine going so I don't own you N/A to bad. :D I won't be happy unless I can go 5.80s on motor.
