problems with online ps2, game back up!

Ok guys i have a problem, i just bought myself the online adapter for my ps2. I only have one game that is online (tony hawks UG)..which is a back up! I put them game in and then i go to the online tab and than i get a small message about some "dnas" and it wont let me play? what's that all about? please help

Use the original disc, and it should work fine.

wtf? i have the original? I was asking why the back up didn't go on line!!! i didn't come on here for you guys to say I'm a theif! i ask if simple question if u didnt know the answer u shouldnt post ur opinion!
