So WTF is wrong with my computer!

ok I have a dell with all the works, its a 8400. when ever I turn it off and leave it off for a few hours then try to turn it back on it makes this "spinning" noise then nothing. I will press a button on my monitor and it says for a split second "in power save mode press any key to continue" I do and nothing happens. I will turn it off and on a few times then It will finally work. whats up with this?

if its still under warranty
i'd call Dell
but sounds like your power settings are jacked up.

Reset all of your power setting under the control panel.
