I am about to make my own website. I need enough storage for a lot of pictures, and several video clips (not porn, lol).
I am good at making web pages, design, graphics, etc...but I am out of the loop as to who to use to register a domain name, where to buy my space, etc..
Can anyone recommend a source?
List pricing if you can. I want to keep it cheap if possible, because it's going to be just a personal website, no profit.
Thanks
Shawn

I've seen and heard good things about the planet.
A lot will depend on your budget. Do you want your own dedicated server or shared hosting? What server platform are you writing for and what db backend?
If its just for personal and you want something cheap shop around there are tons of places around.

how much space do you need... and any idea on bandwidth... i have a dedicated vhost with godaddy and can cut you a deal on some space if you want....
