$30 buy in tourney. Up to 10 players, pay out to top 3. Most likely a $1/no limit cash game afterward. Tourney to start at 8:00pm SHARP.

Is the tourney no limit, what do the blinds start at? Timed blind rounds? Starting chip stack? Just curious, I have a dinner date and can't make it. I would like to come next time.

no limit

blinds start at $2 and double (or roughly double) every 20 minutes.

I've never actually counted out the chip stacks. I'd estimate them to be about $1000 each.

We play on a padded, oval table covered with speed felt. We use KEM cards and use halfway decent 11.5oz chips

just bring money and what you are drinking, whether its beer, liquor, or Dr. Pepper

Thanks, I'll try to make it next time. I have just been learning and need to start playing in the real world. I think I can last longer than 15 minutes now. ;)

By a first timer CHICK on the 5th hand to boot! How did you like your check raise/allin from her Brent?:) Had she played a few more hands(she layed down pocket 3's before the flop when it wasn't raised!!:eek: ), she'd have been in the top two easily! She played pretty damn well for a rookie!

haha, we had a blast like usual. When I posted that I hadn't heard from a single person. Everyone showed up a few minutes later.

Apparently 8'o'clock sharp really means, "anytime after 8:00 will be fine" :)

i would have been there if i hadnt stayed up all night the night before gambling at the casino..Really was lookin foward to being there and fell asleep about 2 p.m. Ya'll are lucky i wasnt there to take yalls money... :).. J/p
