I'll be in Tulsa on Saturday for the worlds largest gun show and blowing a couple thousand, but plan on going to the Air Show on Sunday.

Its saturday/sunday. Gates open at 8am. Ill be there on Saturday.

cltgt: I dont know where to stand with the least pain to be honest with you. Its at Carswell AFB West of Ft. Worth, off of 183.

My street isbeing repaved right now.If they finish this week and I can get out,I'll be there...I'll PM you to let you know by friday,figure out where to meet.Of course,I could drive my wifes truck.Shoot me a pm by friday on where to meet.I grew up down the street from the base,so I know my way around.Let me know

There is a Petsmart/Oshman's on 183 right across from the runway next to Ridgmar mall.Parking lot would be a good place to meet..somebody set the time.

about 6 of us from work are going to take our boats out there and watch it from the lake at the end of runway. (saturday)

The Blue Angels just got done rehearsing. We were watching from our parking lot.

You guys have fun tomorrow. Try to catch the very beginning of the Blue Angels' show. It involves the pilots and maintainers doing a walk-around inspection of the airplanes. Not many people are aware that this is part of their show.

Easy on the turkey legs. Bring some sunblock. And don't forget to stop and face the flag when the National Anthem plays.

Ouch on the sternum. Ive been in all sports all through high school and spent 15 years in martial arts without cerious injury. Then played softball for a church team and broke my sternum. Now aint that somethin!!!

It was nice to meet you Jon. I JUST got home btw. I was in traffic in the parking lot for 2 and a half hours LITERALLY. I am also burnt to a crisp. lol.

Awesome show! It did suck getting out of their though..Why the heck were they checking everyone's cars at the main exit gate? I sat in the same spot for 1hr and then I finally turned around and went out the back way...Few pics and vids from the day....The wiener pic is the inside of a jet engine...I thought that was pretty cool..

Nice pics! Yeah I had to go to the bathroom and could not move for 2 hours. I ended up finally just getting an opening and re-parking my car to run out to a porta-potty. After that I just sat in my car with the music for about an hour/ hour and a halfto wait and then drove home. I have no idea why it was like that. I'll post my pics in the pic forum. I snapped 115 pictures today. :eek:

Everyone who showed up early was stuck in shitty traffic.All us folks who were late got out nice and easy....of course we did have to walk an extra mile to get the car.
