The Spurs fans didn't feel bad for us when Dirk went down in the playoffs or with Damp and Stack currently out. Why whould we care about Duncan? That just means they'll have to step up or lose the #1 seed in the conference.

Now I get to be a Mavs fan and bitch about injuries after every Spurs loss.
Injuries happen. The Spurs will still win the division. Don't get your hopes up.

theres no question that Dirk is the key for the mavs, but they have other player s that can put up some numbers too, Finley, Terry, Daniels, Howard, Stackhouse, and Dampier is a monster on the boards

I don't know about 4 more games, but I found this earlier. Could it be true?
Credible people close to the Spurs believe that Duncan’s ankle injury is more serious than the team is reporting. Duncan, they say, will be out until next season.

Looks like my prediction is coming true.
And in case you 'misread' my previous quote, I did say "conference", not division.

Personally, I'd rather play the Spurs.

I'd rather play the Suns personally. Now that we actually play some form of defense, I think we could take 'em in 7.

That and it would be nice to bust Nash's ass. Show him we're better without him. :D

I used to, but not anymore. Terry does more defensively than Nash.

BOTH. And at the rate were going, it could very well happen. Assuming there are no upsets in the first round, Dallas will play Phoenix in the 2nd round. And of course, if there are no upsets in the 2nd round, Dallas would get S.A. in the conf. finals.

I agree, Nash is good, but I like Jason Terry better

bring it, tim duncan might play on thursday, but the spurs think he will only sit out 3-5 games just to be safe.

If the mavs continue to play defense and barring they have no more 39 and 40 point lapses in the 4th, then yea, would take the Suns 6 or even 7 to win the series. Either way, I still say the Suns. Lot of talent young and old on that team.
