now that that is out of the way. i look forward to rooting for ou, ut, ku, iu, and ttech until they cross osu's path. the big 12 is my team now.

its in the eye of the beholder, osu has the best big 12 record, and they won the tourney so to me they are the best. if you think otherwise thats cool. but it doesnt sound like you have any reasoning.

You said yourself......... "to me, they are the best" (So, thats is YOUR opinion)

I got news for you. 5 years from now, when you look up Conference Champs for Big 12 (2004-2005) Its going to list OU and Kansas as Co-Champs) There will be no mention of OSU.

I also find it humerous, that 3 years ago, OU won the tourney, and OSU fans were telling me that the tournament didnt mean squat. That it was the regular season champ that had real honors. So which is it? Why the discrepancy?

yeah it is my opinion, and its semi-backed up by the fact that we wont the tourney. i know you dont have to tell me who won the regular season, when did i say ou and ku didnt win it? i never said that, your trying to stir shit up that doesnt exist.

i know a bunch of ou fans that say ou is playing like shit right now and dont think theyll make it past 1 or 2 rounds in the tourney, i disagree, but does that mean that ALL ou fans think that? im not sure but i do know that i have never said the regular season is more important. so maybe its possible that some fans have different opinions then the 3 osu people you work with. try not addressing your coworkers as the entire osu fanbase. the big 12 tourney in my opinion has addressed the fact that osu is in fact the best team, and due to the fact that osu has had a target on their back and received every team's best effort and our guys didnt always put 100% in they could not win the regular season and have the energy to go far in the tourney. eddie sutton said he wasnt sure if osu could win had they beaten texas for the last game.

and when ou wins more the a few conf. tourneys then it might start meaning more. :eek: ;)

and youre wrong about no mention of osu, right next to the regular season stats will be the tourney stats which will say OSU, and hopefully next to that will say NC-OSU.

OU beats KU head-to head and splits with OSU.

i think Tech did fairly well this season
if im correct that was their first big 12 championship game ever and they fought hard, however i knew from the get go that osu would win

tech did great, as long as bobby knight is there they will continue to do great guaranteed, and to be honest will probably become a powerhouse much like indiana, its just keeping him there. it seems like he would rather be somewhere else sometimes.
