I've heard alot from some really hard riders about the michelin pilot powers. Enough to make me think about replacing my metzlers (still have about 1/2 life)

I've gone through like 4 sets in a year and a half because I ride so much....but they're awsome tires

My front is still in good shape, should I replace it at the same time or will it be ok. I think its a Dunlop 208. The back is different right now.

some people have told me to replace both at the same time but i never did. I just replaced them as I needed....so you should be fine

they are good, but suck at the track. they turn into goo after riding too hard for too long.

well you should atleast have the same type of tire. but if the front is a 208 and in good shape, I would just go with a new rear 208.

Are you kidding? The Dunflops slide all over the place in the corners. For nearly the same price, you can get Metzeler M1s or Pirelli Diablos, which are MUCH, MUCH better tires.

I've got 208's on mine, but my next pair will definitely be the pilot powers. my buddy got them a little while ago on his and they feel awesome. the curve of the tires really seems to throw you over in the turns (in a good way).

i cant say anything aobut those tires since i never rode them, but I'm saying i had the 208s and i thought they were awesome. never had any slipping problem, and i could take my corners quite low. im not saying theyre the best out there, but I have no complaints towards them.

I was pretty impressed with the Metzler M1 that I had on my old R6. And for $120 shipped the price was hard to beat.

I like my 208zr's. Here is them working on the street. Not really working them hard but they are getting the job done.

What about the Michelin Pilot Race M2's?

If you don't push your bike hard in the corners, the 208s are alright. Once you do start pushing the tires hard, they will start sliding in the corners. The M1s and Diablos will stick like glue.
