pm rasimants, he's got a low mileage '02 r6 (blue) w/ matching joe rocket jacket, helmet, and gloves for under 6k (i can't remember the exact price). It's a sweet bike. do a search for his name and you'll find his thread in the vehicles forum. He lives in arlington too.

lotta bikes for sale on stuntlife, most of em trash, some nice deals, and a lotta riders on dfw sportbikes, wouldnt have a problem finding something local.
