i've been there a few times, and i think that it's a pretty cool place. my daughter rides her little crf 80 on the kid's tracks and i usually ride on the intermediate track, that's right next to the kid's track...my wife just putts around on her 4-wheeler, through the trails and around the place.:D

Yeah thats what I was looking for, my wife is a great ridder but she can't ride anything bigger than a xr100 because she is short. And the smaller tracks are perfect for her bike. I e-mail the guy and asked him about driveing in late and he said he would leave the gate open for me, seemed real cool to me.

The knee did good today, better than expected. The Asterisk braces really helped.....best $600 I've spent yet. We'll all ride next weekend if you're up to it. I'm kind of glad I went to the 360 trails instead of Rip Char today...since it's slow paced out there it gave me a chance to try the new stuff I got for the bike and my knee braces. I'll be ready for Rip Char next weekend!!

That sucks. I just put a new cam in mine and I'm itching to try it out. Just a auto-decompression cam...I want to make sure the bike runs good though. I'll probably ride somewhere this weekend.

Cam you say! I need some advice on those for my wifes bike. I wanted to put one on my wifes xr100 but I had no idea where to start, I also want to learn how to adjust the valves. I have never worked on a 4 stroke bike.

I had an XR200 I rebuilt the motor on (with a lot of help from a friend) a long time ago. Adjusting the valves is easy. Pick up a clymer manual and I can help you tackle it some day. Mine haven't needed adjustment but I still check them.

Just the cam. The specs are the same as the old cam, it just gives me auto decompression so I can just kick it without fooling with the decompression lever. The job was real easy.

I would go with but Village scares me a little. I rode out there once and didn't like the organized practice much becuase it was packed. Also my bike isn't set up for motocross anymore, not that it would be hard to switch it back...just the rear spring and I'd remove the handguards. How do you like riding at Village? Is it usually packed on Monday nights?

I've only been there once and it was over a year ago. I am getting itchy for a track ride and that one is my only option thats not two hours away.

It was not crowded at all and don't worry I don't clear all the jumps anyway. The novice practice was about 10 bikes, but it was quad night so it might have been an off night. :confused:
