This thing makes a shit load of torque. The article was in sport rider. Its numbers are 250 tq and gets 100 miles per gallon. I think the hp is around 120. Looks pretty tough. Its a 1200 3 cylinder turbo motor

good lord! it'd be hard as hell to keep the front down w/ 250 tq. it'd be fun though!

that would be awesome with todays gas prices. not to mention the torque.

I think it would be fun to drive.Enough torque to pull the front wheel up in any gear and could you imagine the look on truckers faces when you pulled up and pumped in diesel. They said it revs up to 7000 rpms also.Which I thought was pretty cool. For those who dont know most diesel engine redline around 3 grand

yeah, but it's a motorcycle...a comparable gas engine to that one, in a motorcycle, would probably rev to 14,000 rpms...

Stephen, that's the bike I was talking to you about but forgot to post pictures of. I like the look of it and you can't beat the gas mileage it's getting.

It's still in the development phase and also being a European bike I agree it'll probably be pretty expensive.

judging how a diesel option increases prices on cars/trucks, I bet it'll be up there...

TDIs don't redline until 5100...all depends on the size/rod length/ect. of the motor.

Pretty cool idea, it will be huge in Europe.
