what is the widest tire that will fit on the back of an 1990 Suzuki Katana 750?

go with stock or at most one size up. other wise it wont turn in for crap.

You probably want to go with a 180 in the rear. Give me a call if you need a tire. I sell them for $75.00 mounted and balanced.

stick with the stock size. bike's wheels are designed for a specific width and height tire so when you go changing that, it can really mess with you

Unless you're talking about the Jixer! Mine came with a 190 and turned like shit 'till I switched to 180.

Unless you're talking about the Jixer! Mine came with a 190 and turned like shit 'till I switched to 180.

same with the R1. it has a 190 but is much quicker to turn with a 180 in the back. but generally is it a good idea to stay around (preferably AT) the stock tire size, especially if you are unsure

i am not sure if i am going to buy the bike, it is a 1990 and he wants 1500 for it with 30k miles on it, i think it is a little pricey for that year, what do yall think?

i don't think it is even worth that, it has been laid over, it need the gas tank emptied and it needs a new chain, none of which will be fixed before i would purchase it, sounds like to much work for to much money

that is what i am thinking, i am having someone look into a 2000 kawi 600, just doesn't want it anymore for only 1k, hope he still has it. see what i can do...

To be bruitaly honest...I can't stand Katana's. Not a real sport bike! To everyone who has one, I'm not trying to make anyone cry...just my preference. I've ridden one and I thought it sucked.
