Hey guys,
I am getting back into weights hard core. I have always lifted and I have a workout room in my house with all free weights.......so I am not hopeless and have no excuse for not lifting.
I have never been this serious as I am now and want to know what supplement I should use to see the fastest results?
I bought 500grams of Creatine Micronized and am loading like crazy.....I am also eating a shitload of egg whites.....etc.
I am 5'9" and 170lbs......probably about 12% body fat.

Legal or illegal?

Diet is going to be the key. Without the proper diet you will not see gains regardless of your supplements. Keep eating a variety of lean protiens (approximately 1.5-2g of protien for every pound you weigh). Your meals and protien should be spaced throughout the day. Protien shakes right after a workout are also good.

IMO most people supplement when they just need to adjust their diet and/or workout routine.

Got Boost? will have some better ideas too.

First and foremost, the most anabolic thing that you can put in your body right now are the right foods at the right time. Even though you arern't as concerned with bodyfat, that's no excuse to eat crap in leiu of nutritionally dense foods. Keep your protein up and try to have some protein coupled with a low-glycemic carb such as potatoes, whole-wheat pasta, yams, oatmeal, steamed veggies, etc. every 2.5 to 3 hours. Stay away from sugar and alohol, they are worthless and will just jack up your insulin production, as well as the alcohol suppressing your natural test production for up to 2 days after a binge.

It's not the answer that you want, but patience is a virtue. I don't really recommend that you concern yourself with supplements until you've been eating good and hitting the iron for at least a month, if not more. Save your money, you are gonna soak up the calories and grow as it is if you hit it hard enough in the gym. Save the supps for when you hit that first plateau in a couple months, and know your body/natural progress a little better.

Honey is better than refined sugar, but your insulin won't be affected any differently. It won't be as sweet, but try slicing up your favorite fruit in your oatmeal, and a scoop pf protein works pretty good too.

Honey does have a place though, for a while I would eat a tablespoon right as I hit the locker room. That would spike my insulin a touch and leave my body more ready to absorb the shake I drank minutes later. While dieting I can't afford the calories, nor am I ever in an anabolic state so I've quit the honey lately, but I'll get back into it when I'm back on the bulking cycle. Don't expect miracles, it's sugar not Test 250, but every little bit helps.

That is about the dumbest statement I have ever heard!
That would mean I need to consume....382.5-510 grams a day of protein.
Talk about a case of the runs!
LMAO!

a very good protein shake/powder is ON's Whey Protein.

It has 23 grams per serving. I make two servings per shake and mix it with water. it mixes wicked easy and you will see some superior gains from it. there is hardly any fat or sugar in each serving. I try to drink at least 6 a day. Most importantly, I drink one after workout, and right before bed.

also, if you want to take any supplements in addition to a good diet, i strongly suggest any Amino Acid supplement as well as a good multi-vitamin. Especially B vitamins. B-complex vitamins help convert stored fat into energy.

You will see some really strong gains from using the above products.

When you start to get your gains and plateau, first change your routine up a little and take a look at some Rich Gaspari products like Meth-D, also good stuff, and most definitely some Nitrix. It's expensive, but well worth it. I only use these products during a ripping or competition phase/season.

I haven't tried many products out on the market, but what i have tried works. Plus, the only thing I use regularly is Amino's, Multi-Vitamins, Creatine, and Protein Powders. I've never tried or used roids.

A good book to buy is Muscle Mags Encyclopedia of BodyBuilding. There is a TON of good routines and info in there.

Good luck man.
