riding westbound on f.m. 449 toward longview, texas (i live in marshall) when i go to shift and notice that my gear shifter goes WAY higher than it should. upon closer inspection i see that one of the screws that goes into the footpeg/heal guard bracket has come out and is long gone. apparantly, this screw also controls how far up and down your shifter goes. it scared the shit out of me for a second. i stopped at a local middle school parking lot and dialed up the local Kawasaki dealer, which i remembered a member from this board happens to work at. they close at 6 pm, and this call was made at roughly 5:45. i was a good 20 minute ride away. the board member, who we will call KevinH78 answered the call and told me to come on down. when i got there right at closing time, him and his boss were very helpful and when they could not find that particular screw in stock, they actually took one off of a motorcycle on their showroom floor ! to me, this is great service. i did not purchase my bike there and had never set foot in there before this. for them to have gone out of their way to accomodate me in this manner had me floored. i WILL be back in their store to do business again. I recommend anyone looking into getting a ZX-6R or ZX-10R or any other Kawasaki product go see these guys. for you DFW folks, it is a drive, but to me great service goes a long way. it could very well be worth it.

Hey man, I'm just glad we could help. I was hoping he would say to just take one off that bike but I didn't want to make him think I was robbing parts for someone I know. :o :p

i went to that guy jeremy's house after i left your shop. he just needs a turn signal cover to fix the turn signal, but he did jack up some of his plastics pretty good. oh, and he let me drive his bike. i told him he is gonna get really bored really quick with that 500. that thing has nil power. i was actually kind of shocked at how UN-powerful it is. but it will be good for him to learn on, then he can trade up for a 636...

7 large beers and 2 Three Wise Men Shots (Jager, Gold Schlager, and Rumplemintz). Pretty good night of sleep as I went home and checked the board and promptly passed out. I should add that I woke up feeling pretty good :D

There are two different ways of making Three Wise Men, that is one of them. Seems like Liquid Cocaine has something else, I'd have to look it up though.
