So I used some Zaino on Sunday

I got to check out chambers car last night and it looked pretty good. Wish I could have seen it in the daylight though :D DMP is carrying the Zaino product line now and I was up there earlier today and they said sales have been pretty steady on the stuff. They are supposed to be PM'ing me a price list and I'll post that up when I get it. I might try some of there stuff out but I still have like two bottle of Meguires Wax left at home so I might hold off for a bit or try and give it to my brother in law just so it won't go to waste.

I'll have to admit that the pictures suck, so I'll try to get some in bright sunlight. This is with just one coat, that's it.

I just Zaino'd my car too. I love that stuff. I need to take some pics and post them. Expensive but worth it. My friend brought over an old Civic that felt and looked like gravel on the surface so I let him do the clay bar and the whole nine yards on his hood. It looked like he had a new hood. lol. we should have taken pics and sent it to Zaino for a demo car.

yeah, how much is that stuff. i've heard alot of good things about it. chambers, was that by hand or with a buffer? looks nice!

i've also got a bunch of mequire's stuff to use up.

That was by hand, and I really didn't use all the Zaino stuff. In fact, I have only done the full treatment once, last summer. :) All I did was wash it, and apply a coat of Z6 :) The finish is still smooth as heck, and after the rains I still have no water spots! I did this in the parking lot at my apartments with a 2 gallon pesticide sprayer that was bought from Home Depot. Hey, it works great.

That's one of the best things about Zaino, is that it seems to last longer than any Meguirs wax that I've ever put on the car. I used to use Meguirs exclusivly till a friend of mine put an order into Zaino, and wanted to know if I wanted to try it. I did, then shortly thereafter ordered everything I'd need. It's nice to be able to just wipe the stuff on, then wipe it off. NO HARD EFFORT required, it takes more time than elbow grease, and the results speak for themselves. Not to mention I don't have to spend an hour with a frickin' toothpick and Q-Tips getting wax off of the assorted emblems on the car, as well as the black moldings.

what was the sprayer for? to rinse the car after washing it? just wondering 'cause i have one of those that is still in the box. i've used it like one time! :rolleyes:

zaino averages about $12 for each product. not too bad. i didn't notice a wax though? does the polish replace regular wax? the #'s are a little confusing too. what would i use for my '88 hatch with a single stage acrylic enamel paint job(not a base coat/clear coat paint)?

I used Zaino a couple of months ago. This stuff is the shiznit.

whitehorse- use z-1 to start, then z-3 which is for regular paint, and top it of with z-6. If you have scratches or swirl marks use z-5 after the z-1.
