I went for the first time in 8 months. Forgot how much fun it is. Didn't race the Mustang though. It's too slow. :D

It was a perfect day for the track. I hope it's like that next weekend so I can go again!

I thought you were coming out? You would have kicked my butt today. The weather sucked for me. The DA ranged from +1765 to +2117. High humidity and low barometric pressure. :(

I had a good time today......I only made a couple of passes and ran into a minor failer. Finally got the truck to launch half ass straight, no more bouncing and hoppping. I love the coil overs on the front, I recomend them to everybody.

I knocked off a couple 10 flats with it...ran it later on in the day...it was parked by the fence by the staging lanes most of the day. meant to have a few ";)" in that first post :)

I think I might have seen your truck parked. I was walking around for a while, seeing what all was out there. There was a couple really nice Mustangs out there. Maybe next weekend will be just as nice.

there were a good bit of cars there... but it wasn't bad at all... never had to wait at all (though i didn't get to run in my car because my water pump started leaking after my first burnout :mad:) ... but i got to drive cheezebandit's car once...

but my buddy got a lot of runs in and a lot of time to watch... it was near perfect... can't wait to go back :cool:

congrats Fred and C. Thats really moving. And that transbrake thing took me alittle bit to learn to. I'm still not the greatest at it but I love leaving off the t-brake over footbraken. Let me know the next time yall are going out to Redline on a Sunday. I will try and make it out there to see it run. Might even bring out the ole slow race car ;)

Yes it is! Cant wait to get the bracket season started, I was 2nd in points last year when I quit racing(DIVORCE) and missed about 9 weeks. Fell to 14th in points and made a come back of 7th for the last 3 races.

Man that sucks. Sorry to hear that, know how that goes. My parents split a couple of years ago, thats when the 68' Camaro had to leave. Dont know if you remember it or not. My dad was getting pretty up there in the points before he quit racing at Ennis, maybe he will do ok this year, BUT NOT RACING IN NO E with all the sissy's :p

ennis? who who who.. i raced there for many years i might know him...
His name is Joe Peters, he had a blue '68 Camaro for a long time, then from '97 -'99 he had a 1997 Damron Dragster, then now the '72 Vega. They all had Peters Automotive on the side of it except for the Camaro....and then he has had a white enclosed trailor that has Peters Automotive, Greenville, TX on the side of it....dunno if that helps describe him...lol :p
