Give my the keys and I'll be happy to drive your car.

The moment of truth as far as how much of a courageous street racing gladiator you were came during a thread where you were spouting off showing dated material of running a Cobra yet when called out to run a Neon for a little cash you become frightened and hid behind some more of your brilliant smarty comments and would not commit

Nah.. There's too much fun to be had at your expense with how much aid it took you to get into the 11's. Years ago you were boasting about breaking into the 12's... where I had been before you even bought your jalopy. See, told ya. More lies and misdirection to avoid talking the fact that my car was faster than his. Just swallow that crow.

From a year ago.
exclude, stop wasting your time. SS RRR will continue to flip flop around until you get bored with him.

Example A
After I said I would run an 11, SS RRR said I wouldn't.
After I ran an 11 at Hallsville, SS RRR said it didn't count and to run the time at Ennis.
After I ran an 11 at Ennis, SS RRR said to show him a timeslip.
After I offered to show him the timeslip, SS RRR said he wouldn't believe anything on the internet and would have to see it in person knowing that would never happen since he lives in Virginia.

Example B
After I offered to race a SRT4, SS RRR said I was scared to race a Neon.
After I agreed to race a SRT4 straight up, SS RRR wanted me to give it land and the jump for money.
After I agreed to give it land and the jump, SS RRR wanted me to race on the street and didn't want to bet.

Congrats on your retirement. Maybe one day I too will get tired of working on my jalopy and start relying on a distorted past. :p

LOL
Wrong based on your propagandas summation of all the threads we've been involved in regarding your controversial ET's? However fun it is to prove you wrong I will spare the cluster of threads of the involvement of this topic unless you feel so inclined and let those who are interested make their own decision. However since you are a has-been I doubt anyone cares. ;)
What I will say is you claim to have run an 11.8 @ 117 at H-ville and then were able to run the same ET at Ennis at a mere 115mph w/ a 1.70 60'. You are questioned about it yet you sell it off as if 2mph is no big deal. LMAO!
You are right. I won't believe a slip you produce on the internet. I wouldn't expect you to either. Isn't it also strange you've shot video of your accomplishments yet I've never seen the video posted of you at Ennis or Redline running 11's? That is not like you.

Example B
You are a fascinating character. However once again you need to be shown the error of your ways.
My first post on the Neon thread:
All this shit talk and everyone is scared to set up a race? How fucking LAME!

NerdmanMaCall... since you are just that ungodly fast and love to whip it out in order to get out of a race, why don't you give that Neon three cars and the kick for some cash?
Don't be scared.
Several posts are made with the bully talk and no reply to my suggestion:

So I ask again:

Don't be scared.
After several pages go by of him continuing on being a bully he could only reply with the "run whatcha brung.." crap after all the nonsense regarding how slow the Neon was.
In summation:
As I said, who cares if Davey is faster on the flag. Badboy streetracing, money flinging Dave is selling himself as a force to be reckoned with. After reading such boldness coming from his keyboard he could muster the courage to set some sort of race up. I merely gave him an option to run an interesting race and it is blatantly obvious he is scared silly and can't negotiate to save his life. She'd much rather bail out and attempt to change the subject of what this thread was originally about.
If anyone is interested in reading the thread where Dave is proven a chump you can see it here (http://www.dfwstangs.net/forums/showthread.php?t=147768).

If you were not @ the tracks when he ran the times why argue the fact? His car was at one point in time a LOW 7 car in the 1/8 mile. David and I don't hardly know eachother either. We introduced ourselves to eachother one night and have never talked since. So I am not taking up for 1 of my friends or anything like that. A cookie you must have, hmm? Does your 306 89 Mustang have anything to do with the subject at hand? I didn't think so.
If we want to go this route then I was running 9's with a '76 Nova back in the 50's.

Thanks for the input, however the topic of discussion is not about how to get a dinosaur into the 11's, "... 12yrs ago on pump gas and hoosier street tires and no NOS and no on board computers. Just Raw tuning!"

Thanks for your response as well, but 12 years ago that is what was still roaming the earth. And to take a 3950lb w/ driver 72 camaro and run low 11's on street tires and full exhaust w/o any power adders was something at that time. We did however bolt a set of slicks on and change convertors and went 10.40's with same combo. As for the street driven truck in the 10's in the 70's, that must have been something to see. I will have to look in some of my old Hotrod Mags to find a picture since I'm sure it was in there as well.

I'm sorry you must have misunderstood my last post to you. By all means let me dumb it down for you to see if you can comprehend:
Since I am a kiddie trooper I don't care about 12 years ago. Don't care about a '72 Camaro. Don't care about a 10 second truck. Don't care about your accomplishments and certianly don't give two tinkers fucks about Hotrod magazine!

Yes, it was. And it still is. Big block?

The only available "power adder" back then was an 8-71, and aluminum heads were unheard of. Hell, even having a 12 second street car was pretty quick.

<--was there, did that way back then too

To some degree the kiddo is right; it's a new era and what you ran last weekend is the only thing that is relevant. What you did 20 years ago no one cares about.

The kiddo's lack of respect for us old guys and the limited crap we had to work with back then is kind of annoying though  ;) Going fast is a lot easier now than it was 25 years ago; there are so many more parts and so much new technology available now. Kids run 11's now and think nothing of it. It used to be a lot harder to do that :(

I'm not surprised you can't remember the details.

Oh now that's bitter sweet. Thank you though! Even though I don't think you mean it I'll take it FWIW. It's better than nothing.
Anytime you feel like discussing your outstanding street racing achievments from years ago I will be more than happy to oblige to make sure you are pointed in the correct direction.

Kisses, my love.

But of course. However before that I'll have to knock 8/10's off my best time. What a long and treacherous road full of trials and tribulations I have in front of me. :(
I too whish you luck if there ever comes a time you are brave enough to strap on the gloves, strip a few more items off your car and try for a legitimate 11 sec. N/A slip on a flat track.
Enjoy the bitterness. ;)

Hey Bill what times do you plan on running at Ennis on the 25th???? I know you ran some nice 11.69's at Hallsville so whats up for Ennis.. Do you think it will be close to the same or a little higher since the track at Ennis is at higher elevation... :D I'm just hopping to break into the 11's which I think will not be too big of a problem...

It should be done in about a year... Then I'll be going after some very low 11's if not 10's... :D

Awww... Lookie there... the B0ob/\/oOb is attempting to be an e-bully and demand respect while posting pointless random ramblings about what a badass she is. Isn't that lovely.
You aren't very familiar with reading are you? I believe I've told you at least once to pay attention to the thread content and you just might learn something. I have a high 12 second car. That's way too little for your cricketycrackass dinosaur. Just a thought... racing you and either winning or being beat by you and that junkpile would not make me think any different of you. I'm over that skeeter doublewide econo special, "ego is all about the car..." horse's ass state of mind. I'm sure there are plenty of others here who would be happy to oblige if you want to run your suck to the "Big Dawgs". Happy hunting.

Looks like someone has way to much time on her hands after nap time and numerous copies of websters latest edition laying around. Let me guess, you have a friend that knows a guy that has a faster car? I will leave you in your world of "I wish I had a fast car" Land, where it is easier to talk about what you could do rather than getting off your a$$ and doing it. Sucks to be U....

YAY! Another, "One time at band camp I stuck a wrench in my urethra..." tale from Billybob Macylroy.
It is good to be me. You see, I don't have to rely on a hugeass picture of a crickety junk pile doing a burnout in my signature as a cry for recognition. I don't have to extend my ego using a crickety crackass junkpile to come up with such faggotyass terms such as "... school is now in session.." When I do hijack a post at least I stay within the content of what the original subject matter is about instead of going off on some stupidass tangent about how wonderful and great I am because of my fabricated accomplishements I lied about from a hundred years ago.
And LMMFGDAO that you are baffled by the use of simple English to the point where you think it is necessary to use a "Websters.." something or other because of your lack ability to understand what is being written... time and time again. Unlike you it takes me no time at all to bitch slap you all over this thread.
Have a nice day! :)
