Hookup for Hospital jobs?

My friend (soon to be brother-in-law) just finished the Fire academy and is looking for something to pay the bills while he tries to get on at a station. Anyone have the hookup for a job in the DFW area? Obviously Fire Dept openings would be great too. ;)

has he tried checking out cedar hill, desoto or hutch for fireman positions? i have a couple friends who just got done with fire academy not to long ago and got hired in those cities.
