View Full Version : WTB: Ford Factory Stereo for Ford Ranger 1997

I am going to sell my truck so I want to put a stereo in it since someone stole the aftermarket it had when I got it, lol the cd player didnt work anyway so ha ha. but if anyone has a stereo tape player that was stock out of a ranger or explorer or F 150 from 94-97, please let me know, I believe they are all the same. I've got a single-disc CD out of a '99 Ranger. Think it would fit?

Yeah it would if you changed the plugs to older ones. I have one from a 97 that will snap right in. Let me know.

which size is it. If it's the big din player, I have a tape deck too.

how much ? also how much for the plugs ? where are yall located ? Also if it does not fit would you take it back or am I SOL ? Thanks Rob

Mine is the big unit, about twice the size of the normal radio. And I have to find it first :D

big one...looks like a double din out of a 97 f150......20 bucks in duncanville....if it doesnt work or fit....yes i will refund your dinero!

I am in Plano, I would like to check it out, I have 20 bucks. I can try to meet you halfway or something and then if it doesnt work then I will know pretty much off the bat. If it fits I can get the connectors from ford or aftermarket or something... I just need to put something in it so that when I trade it in they will have a radio in it. Stock Ford is better. That's the one I've got Cujo. I'll give it to you if it's what you're looking for. Someone on here gave it to me but it wasn't the size that I needed. Let me know if you want it.
