First off, everything works. The laptops all have XP w/SP2 loaded. The server has NT 4.0 (don't know the password). Do not buy the server unless you can deal with setting one up. I have powered everything on to check for functionality, but didn't get a detailed parts list on all items. Feel free to ask any questions, and I'll get whatever info is needed. No warranties expressed or implied. No tech support is included with these.

Anyway to get windows 98 or 95 on one of the laptops? Does the laptop have a serial port? How much shipped to 78415 in TX?

I have 98 that I can put on no problem. One question, why? (curiousity)

Which laptop do you want? The M300 E500? I would guesstimate ground shipping to be about $15-20. More if insured.

I'll be out of town until Monday the 14th (Vegas baby! ) So if anyone email or PM's me, I won't be able to respond until then.

server looks cool but can get more horsepower for the same price.

Its not hard to recover/reset the admin password on nt4/2000/xp if you have the right tools.

If I were you I'd blow away the drives. I don't know what the server was previously used for but in all of a few minutes someone could be into that server and get off any data still on it easily.

Thats cool. I've seen them without drives on Ebay for $2-300, so I figured $350 was a good price w/4 drives.

I could recover the password if I wanted to, but its not that important to me.

It was a SQL server at one point in its life. If anyone really wants the data, they can have it.

I need a laptop to run Direct Scan for data logging on my 87 Regal Ttype. The M300 is perect. Windows XP sometimes has issues and doesnt work right and the program is for DOS. You tell me what would be better. But I need a drive to make it run either a floppy or cd setup, if not what would I need to buy? It also needs to have a serial port, does this one have one?

The E500 and dock are sold and I have a deal pending on both M300's.

LS1Nova, it does have a serial port as well as video out, printer and one USB port. If you by the MEU (expansion part w/Cd & floppy) it has more ports. You can find them on ebay with and without the drives for $50 or so.

Sorry I need a parrallel port and windows 3.1 or 3.1.1 or whatever it is for it to work. Do you have Windows 3.1 you could put on it? The program runs on DOS to be exact but we are having problems with 98 but it works with 3.1

Its got a parallel port too, but I don't have Win 3.1 to put on it. Although if you can put it on if you want to take that route. Your decision though.

Everything but the E500 and dock are still available.
