11.99 for a roll bar has been changed to 11.49 in the rule book so no more hassle!!**NHRA RULE BOOK says-Roll bar mandatory in all cars (including t-tops) running 11.00-11-49 (7.00-7.35) , in convertibles running 11.00-13.49 (7.00-8.25)

If you spend much time at all on the local tracks you should invest in safety equipment, even if you're not quite fast enough to be forced into installing certain equipment.

Even though my car only runs 12 flat right now in the 1/4 I damn near got taken out at denton a few months ago by a much faster car just past the traps. I already have the safety equipment installed for a much faster car; i'm sure I would have walked away from whatever might have happened. Bad crap can happen on the track much faster than you expect.

Thats why I haven't been at the track since that one time last November. I don't feel safe in the car right now. Plus my mom told me not to race without one she's worried cause my old man has flipped is dragcar back in the early 90's. Scared the shit out of her and me.
