Does anyone know if it is possible to hook up a sub and amp to a computer, if so how? Thanx.

any particular kind of sub and amp?

first, you take the audio signal out of the sound card.

then you pipe it into the RCA inputs of the amplifier, and then you turn on the amplifier, and wire up the sub.


seems self explanatory to me.

don't even bother, the 12v power supply to run ~40 amps is gonna cost you more than it's worth.

I did it a while back but I've got an old AC powered audio amp from the 80s I think. Its all silver but no idea if they still sell them or the costs.
