911/311 CALL TAKER TRAINEE (40006) – ALL SHIFTS IN 24/7 OPERATION - CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT
Trainees start at $14.28 hourly. Two years experience with considerable public contact by telephone, involving one or more of the following: two-way radio communication/dispatch; data entry; complaint resolution; customer service orders/inquiries. Requires the ability to view and read information on computer monitors and maps, accurate data entry/typing skills of 30+ wpm, ability to remain calm under pressure and to work varying shifts (nights, weekends, holidays and/or overtime). Must have own telephone or pager. Intensive background investigation and drug test are required (no Felony convictions or Class A Misdemeanors). Bilingual skills are helpful in emergency call center. High school or equivalent.
