Archie, on the motor pass it sounds kinda like you shifted just when the motor came on the power. The N2O converter is freaking tight, still sounded short shifted. What gear are you running?

The converter only comes up to 4400 on the brake. I ran first gear up to 8800 rpm when I shifted. It really didnt want to be shifted right there. It was just starting to make some power. You can hear the motor fall off after the shift was made. I really think I can make it through the 1/8th in just first gear.

3.89 rear gear, 1.66 first gear and a 28" tire.

So do you think that it will pick up enough on the juice to be efficient w/ the 3.89, or you going to drop down? What mph is 8500rpm, 28 tall tire, 1:1 high gear? will your car run that mph in the 1/8. I think that I will need a taller gear in my car w/ new motor, maby not all the way to a 3.89.

At 8500 rpm in high gear, 182 mph. Should be just right.

Maybe I will test with some lower gears but, I think getting it to hook will be a problem. I was given a target gear ratio muliplier and I am within .06 of that target. So, for now, I will test the way it is.
