Bush called it "the world's primary state sponsor of terror."
GE and Haliburton are "wrapping up" their endeavours in Iran. So, Iran is next, correct?

I work with two people that fleed Iran after the revolution in the late 70s. They say that younger people are tired of the empty promises of the theocracy. I think Bush policy is, if Iran has another revolution we will come help. He is telling them to go ahead and start something. A news report several months ago pointed out that we have special forces and/or intelligence people in Iran helping organize people. We are probably already supplying weapons to them.

I know Bush is probably thinking that over. Iraq is already plenty for our hands trying to control the insurgency. Then we will have all of Iran's insurgency to worry about while we are there and I am sure other Muslim nations will be furious as well. We should just help the Iraqi government and security establish itself and get our asses out of there!
Iran IS next. What they are next for is anyone's guess at this point. There will be a lot of attempts at diplomacy first, that is for sure. There may also be an Israeli strike on Iran, I guess we will see. I very seriously doubt that the US troops in Iraq are going to pack up and just head for Iran.

Why do you think we're staging up sustaining bases out here in Iraq?!?! The base I'm on is going to be another Germany. We'll be here for a while and use it as a centralized middle-eastern ass-whooping center. We just signed a 15 year lease from the Iraqis at the end of '04.

Kinda of funny they signed a lease with the Iraqis. What are they gonna do, demand that we leave? Didn't quite work out last time. :)

It's more of a courtesy... we will leave when we're good and ready. (no time soon)

Well of course. Theres the REAL reason for this war. It's not for the Iraqi people. It's so America can have a place to stage for Middle Eastern wars. hahaahahahaha

The USA should just base 30,000 soldiers in Israel.

We had bases in Morocco and Lybia in the 50-60 (?) and we got kicked out of those. Ask 01WC is old enough to remember. :D

woohooooo, that means osama gets pushed further down the list.United States P-38 pilots shot down Admiral Isoruku Yamamoto on April 18, 1943. He was the mastermind behind the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
His death did not signal the end of the war.
Apparently you believe that the war on terror starts and ends with Osama bin Laden?

It is a culture and religious war. The other side knows it, but we haven't figured it out yet.

Your comparing a world war to the "war on terror"???Yes, absolutely!!!! <---- multiple punctuation marks makes more of a statement, don't you agree?????????????????????????
What should I compare it to? Are you trying to say that fundamentalist Islamic philosophy, and the violence associated with it, is not a problem the world should work to reign in? I guess some people (such as yourself) never see it coming. The French thought they could make peace with Nazi Germany too...
Anyway, you neatly avoided my question. Please answer in your reply. :)

TEHRAN, Iran (Reuters) -- Iran, facing mounting U.S. pressure over its nuclear program, promised on Thursday a "burning hell" for any aggressor as tens of thousands marched to mark the 26th anniversary of its Islamic revolution.
