damn I wonder what took me so long. I just picked it up the other night. As soon as I start playing Halo2, I realized I should have bought this along time ago. Now I don't have to wait around at the house wondering if 3 other people will come over and play.

So if any of yall what to do some killing let me know, I die pretty easy :( . I need to play some more, not that good yet. I just like paying the game.

My 2 month free subscription just ended, good thing, Halo 2 on live is way too addictive, playing until 3 am was catching up to me.
When I first started on Halo2 on XBL I sucked, after a while I got a little better, my best post game was like 17 kills 6 deaths

What hardware? My son has been bugging me about this Live thing and I don't want to add another place where I post my credit card number.

Now take that Halo disc out and throw it across the room and toss in some Rainbow Six 3. ;)

I *think* all that is required is the headset that plugs into the controllers, and a router to connect the xbox to your internet connection at home. I know there's tons of free servers out there for playing xbox live without having to pay a monthly fee.

I'm ' ytlayol ' on xbox live. I play Halo 2, Madden and Tiger 05. I'm usually on around 10pm or so on week days.

I know a bunch of people that don't like Halo and love Rainbow Six. Halo is more of the jump around and go nuts with a bunch of 9 year olds game. Rainbow six is a little bit slower and more....strategical if you will.

And yeah you can play online using Xbox Connect or whatever but there is not nearly as many servers and features.
