The slim ps2 does have the network capability though, so it's still possible to do online gaming. Even an MMO could be done (as in Everquest Online Adventures) without needing the hdd.

ouch, pushed back again. How many times are they going to delay it. My brother has it order for me as a christmas gift :eek: . I remember when this game was suppose to come out in Nov. Also the guys at Gamestop said the reason why it was beening pushed back was casue they were working on making it online. But the guy said it won't be casue I guess they didn't get everything figured out.

The gameplay for online mode would suck balls anyways, as slow as ps2 online is. I don't know why its so hard to make that machine work online without lag. The only way that a game with that high of a res and refresh would ever be able to play online is if it was on xbox.

Resolution, polygon count, and screen refresh rate have nothing to do with the network lag... unless the developer is retarded, and has all the graphics stored on their servers, and it has to be downloaded to each machine individually while playing.

They just need to stop fucking with console and put it on PC.

They probably would if Sony didn't have a large share, if not a majority share, in Polyphony Digital.

Does anyone know if the game will have superchargers as an upgrade? I know Nitrous is in, but i'm sick of being only able to go all motor on domestics.
