Yes,you guys are correct it will not be activated untill January 31st thru February 4th only. Sorry i forgot to mention that.
Also the ad was listed in Sundays Newspaper of the Dallas Morning News and the Star-Telegram in the job section.

I applied there a year and a half ago. Took 4 months before I got a notification to take the civil service exam, then they had to reschedule the test. Next week I take the mechanical aptitude test. It's a great company to work for if you can get on but it takes a LONG time.

I think its a good job as well and they pay very well. For those of you that want to take the test you can go to the library or Barnes & Noble and buy the book to study for the test, the test is not hard its mostly follwing directions, memorization from what i remember. You can also look at the book at www.amazon.com and jusy type "Post office exam" in the search icon.
