Windows XP SP2

Is it safe to go ahead and upgrade to SP2 or does it still have a ton of bugs in it? The little Windows Updater always wants to download it whenever I start up and I was just wondering if I need to wait or what.

Unless you plan on installing some pirated Microsoft software in the near future go for it! It seems things that previously didn't require activation now do (Office XP as an example).

I have yet to have any trouble with SP2. The new pop-up blocker with IE is a god-send. The security center is nice as well. Its fully configurable, so if you don't like it, you can turn everything off.

My XP rig is mainly for games and I've had zero issues with the games I play.
