As far polarized as this country is it comes down to the 80% in the middle. While the people in the middle may not agree with the right, they are certainly leaning right and definetly not leaning left.

The general perception being less damage would be caused by the right then the left.

I don't think Condi would make a good President. The Office of President requires a politician as well as an expert, and Condi is definitely more on the side of being an expert than a politician. Plus, she wants to head back to academia when she's done, and I'm sure than Bush had to do some talking to get her to run for SofS. I think Rudy Guiliani would have been a pretty stout choice for President had this whole immigration thing with his guy for Homeland Security not turn out the way it did.

"If Hillary takes office we will have a war every other week" As opposed to now, as we've been in a pointless unneccesary war for the last two years. "no one who hasn't served our military should be in office ever" how about those who serve in name only, i.e. join the guard and spend all of their time in another state supporting one of daddys friends. I guess I should expect this from what's obviously going to be a religious radical right-wing site (for the most part), but I figured at least a few of you would have an iota of intelligence. By the way most of the country does NOT lean to the right, the democrats aren't holding up thier end. I am pretty liberal (big surprise) and even I couldn't vote for Kerry a soft non-descript "liberal".

In closing I would have to wish Hillary a lot of luck. She will need it to clean up W's fucking mess.
