put your knee down first. Your pegs won't have a chance.

Of all the supersport style bikes the F4is have the least race-oriented peg position, thus peg dragging is more common. Generally speaking dragging parts is inviting a low-side. When something touches the ground it can lift the rear tire causing it to wash out...not good.

First, try taking the peg feelers off. If you still have the problem then get some new rearsets or stock rearset relocating plates to move the assembly up and back.

if you are draggin peg your body position is wrong.... you want to hug the tank with your legs and be as close as you can to the tank and you want to be kissing your mirrors up front then you want to lean your ass off the side and hang ...do not try to drag your knee rather if hits the ground go with it ....most times when people are learning to drag knee...they are trying way to hard to just throw the knee down .....let your knee be relaxed and drag pucks baby!

Yeah if you are draggin ur peg then your position isn't right. Slide to the back of the seat, hang off the bike some, put ur face kinda by the mirror and look around the turn, Rest ur outside elbow on the tank. DO NOT DRAG KNEE ON THE STREET cause the street is to inconsistent and you will go down. More lean off the bike means less lean the bike has to do and that faster u can go around a turn without losing traction. :)

Yup. Scraping the pegs means you're leaned over too far w/ bad body posistion and you probably didn't have much tire on the road. Dangerous for the street. Lean your body off more, like the guys said, and you won't have to have your bike at such a steep lean angle and you'll put more of the rubber on the road. But stop doing that stuff on the street before you hit some oil or dust one day.

It can hurt. With all the imperfections on street roads he might get snagged and then be levered into the air.

Levered? You might be catapulted into the air  If you are leaning that far over I hope you are wearing the proper gear.

I might be using the wrong terminology but, the peg could become a leverage point and you'll be catapulted into the air. :)
