I am sure more and more contractors will cancel their contracts/agreements as well. Guys with the rise in insurgency in Iraq, I really do not think this will never end and will be difficult to accomplished this mission. I was for the war against Iraq but now I am having second thoughts, we are losing too many men now fellows. I am at the point where I will be happy to see the US withdraw from that hell hole! :(

By the contractors pulling out it is exactly what the insurgents want. I wish we could pull out of Iraq but we cannot. The country would go to hell. I agree with fighting terrorism but do not agree with the way this war has been handled. More terrorists groups than ever thought have popped up. The Middle East is a sh*t hole. I would like to think freedom and education would help most of the ignorant hatred of the people over there but I do not think it will. I think Iraq could have been dealt with another way. Possibly after we finished with Afghanistan but we have not even done that yet. Too much at one time. Now there is talk about Iran. I hope we don't bite off more than we can chew which I have the feeling that is what has already happened. I really don't see a cure for the Middle East and think it will continue to get worse damaging the US reputation even more while putting us more into dept. We have to finish what we started. Hopefully it will get to a manageable point for us to leave and let the Iraq gov. take care of it. I really don't see that happening. The US now has more enemies and in the eyes of terrorists, more of a reason to do something else towards the US. Not good. I don't like Bush and I did not like Kerry too much. All I can say is I wish the sh*t would get under control. War, dept, economy all suck. I really have to question this war now. We cannot walk away though. Just a bad gig if you ask me. I don't think the US will be able to pull this one off. What happens then?

Does anybody know how many actual employees were employed there? I am thinking not many, since Halliburton has most of the work going on over there. This just gives a moral victory to the insurgents(terrorists).

tell me about it, the terrorist are loving it and the Iraqi people are losing their confidence that we will help repair their nation. If this persist, I am sure this will increase the terrorist network growth.

I was listening to Rush today. A 23 year old in the military called in. In a nutshell he said that what you see in the news vs. what his experience has been in Iraq is totally different. The guy speaks arabic and he said that by and large the iraqi people are glad that we are there. He said that the people that aren't glad are either foreigners or are people that have no idea what's been going on.
Some .02 from the actual war on terror.

That is great to hear, they need to come together and work on their Army and Police enforcement... Of course they are intimidated because they are vulnerable targets. I think this is one of their number one issues right now …
