Benson had higher YPG (#3 IIRC in the nation) than all the backs in the top 5,scored more points (19 TDs) (#3 in the nation), was 2nd in rushing to A PEterson, #5 in the nation overall, and carried the team.
His numbers speak for themselves.

Benson has 1764 rushing 179 receiving for 20 TDs without a good passing offense.

I'm even making a bet with one of my VP's at work that is from Iowa (big 10 guy) over the Texas/Michigan game. Yes, I'm betting on Texas. :eek:

since ballots did not have to be turned in last night, Voters may be ticked off that Texas made the BCS bowl game and chose to punish them by not giving El Ced the nod to make the trip to NYC. Just a thought. I think that it was an injustice to the system not to have him there. Consistent over the past 4 years as anyone else only to be snubbed. I would be upset as well.
