I have never done any sport betting so I'm not to sure what to do. I am thinking about putting some money on the Tech Vs Cal game.
Should I bet the spread or just a straight win/loss? Also what are some good betting sites that everyone uses?
Help me out guys...I know some of you frequently bet on games. Could you lay down the basics for me?
TIA

And betting sites? Bah! I've got a local guy....even money back if u win, if u lose, it's the bet + 10%, due the following Tuesday.

How do you bet on a Tech game? If they play the same team day after day, Tech would lose by 30 one day and win by 30 the next day.

If you are talking about their glory reciever I heard his leg was broken. This may be rumor. Im not sure.....but if its true I dont think he will make the H-Bowl.

since Tech is the underdog and you want to bet on them, you should go ahead and take the spread.

The current line is still Cal -12 but I don't know if I'd take Tech plus the points. Yes Cal lost their best receiver, but they also have one of the best running backs in the nation and we know how Tech's run defense is. It also depends if Cal comes to play. Last year when Texas got screwed and ended up in the Holiday Bowl, they played like shit and it seemed no one really wanted to win. Cal could play like this or they could come out and play their asses off to send a message to the county.
On another note, the o/u is 66 which may be a good take on the over. I went out to Vegas 2 years ago during Bowl Week and had one of the best times of my life and make some serious cash, just to lose it on the poker table.

Dont get me wrong guys...I have faith in my team but I'm not dumb. I will not be betting a large sum of money.... I just want to have a little fun....and if Tech wins then I was hoping the return would be pretty good.
