anybody go?
i didnt make it, and i was wondering if anyone went out there and represented dfwstangs on the dyno..
post your results!
i was there and so was gt chick, my #'s for a stock lil 2v with 4.10's and an exhaust leak weren't anything special at all...234/269 tq. Beej put down 300+ but had some tuning issues. I'll let gtchick post her #'s if she wants too...but I did put down more on motor than she did heh heh
I lost some power, my car finished out at 315, 320, but I had some tunning issues, I just put a chip in, and wasnt totally pleased with it, its all good though, I picked up alot of area under the curve that wasnt there before, which really is more important then peak power. The chip also fixed 100% of the drivability issues I had, it doest surge, buck, or idle weard at all anymore. THat is nice.
I will prolly end up redoing it again, make the timing a little more agressive, and maybe that will fix it right up. Over all I am pleased though.
Last time I dyno'd it would go sub 10.0:1 on the second third pull, and this time, it stayed right at 12.5, so I was happy there too.

I got a rain check from them to come back at a later time to get my car dyno'd.. I got the rearend differential spider gears replaced and put some better clutch packs in there after I cleaned all the little metal shavings out of the housing.. I went back up there around 5:20 and they were about finished and Brian just gave me a rain check for to come back sometime later on that they were too tired and were putting everything up.. So that was cool of them.. So I'll take mine up there sometime this week..
